Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 296 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5,324.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.61,302 and the toll of death was 3,893.
The number of active detention zones in the country is at 15.
A total of 322 patients are declared recovered on Saturday, taking a total count of patients recovered to 6,52,085.
