Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 301 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Monday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5.505.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.59,844 and the death toll was at 3,886.
The number of active detention zones in the country is in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
339 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.50.453.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is at 98.57%.
So far, 79.8% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been flexible.
GHMC recorded 70 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajgiri neighbor recorded 12 cases, Rangeddy recorded 16 cases and Sangeddy recorded three cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 31 new cases recorded the highest number of cases.
