Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 306 new Covid-19 cases and 3 deaths on Saturday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5,673.
The total number of cases from the beginning of last year’s pandemic stood at 6.59,313 and the death toll was at 3,883.
366 patients were declared recovered on Saturday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.49,757.
The case fatality rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reaches 98.55 percent now.
On Saturday, 69,422 samples were tested for novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.49 Crore and has reached 6.69 lakh testing sample per million populations.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
The number of active detention zones in this country stand in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
