Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 354 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Monday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 6,308.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.55,343 and the death toll was 3,861.
The number of active detention zones in the country is in 16.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
427 patients were declared recovered on Monday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6,45,174.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate reaches 98.44% now.
So far, 79.8% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been flexible.
On Monday, 74,634 samples were tested for the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.40 crore samples and has reached 6.45 lakh testing sample per million populations.
GHMC recorded 57 cases on Monday, while Medchal Malkajgiri neighbor recorded 7 cases, Rangeddy recorded 17 and Sangareddy recorded four cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 32 new cases recorded on Sunday while Narayanpet and Warangal urban saw more cases.
