Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 4,393 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday which was 1,643 recorded within the larger Hyderabad Municipal (GHM) corporate limit while the number of cases actively jumped to 31,199.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country increased to 7.31.212.
Two deaths were recorded during the day, taking the victim to 4,071.
From new cases, 421 was recorded at Medchal Malkajgiri and 286 in Rangeddy.
The case fatality rate (CFR) in the state is at 0.56%.
Overall, Telangana has now completed testing 312 crore samples and has reached 8.40 lakh sample testing per million populations.
Apart from GHMC and its surroundings, districts that see more cases including Hanamkonda who saw 184 cases, Khammam 128, Peddapalli 98, Mahubnagar 93, Karimnagar 88 and Manserial 88.
