Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 499 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Sunday even when the number of active cases in the country was established at 8,406.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6.49.406 and the death toll was at 3,825.
The number of active detention zones in the country is in 29.
Regardless of two detention zones in Hyderabad, Jagiyal and Karimnagar have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
623 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.37,175.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is at 98.11% now.
So far, 79.8% of the total cases in the country have asymptomatic while 20.2% have been flexible.
On Sunday, 79,231 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.28 Crore.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 73 cases on Sunday.
