Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 869 new Covid-19 cases and eight deaths on Thursday even when the number of active cases was further dipped in 13052.
The total case from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6,24,379, while the toll reached 3,669.
The number of active detention zones in the country falls to 63.
At present, there are no active micro detention zones in Hyderabad, while Mahabubabad with 19 and Bhadadri-Kothagudem with 16 micro detention zones have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
On Thursday, 1,197 patients recovered, took the total number of patients recovered to 6.07,658.
The level of case fatality reached 0.58% while the recovery rate increased to 97.32% now.
So far, 79.9% of the total cases in this country have been asymptomatic.
On Thursday, 1.05,123 samples were tested for Covid-19.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 1.87 crore samples and has reached 5.04 lakh testing sample per million.
Hyderabad greater recorded 101 new cases on Thursday, while Medchal-Malkajirgiri adjacent to 41 cases, Rangareddy 65 and relaxed 10 cases, continued a decline in trends around the city of Hyderabad.
