Hyderabad: Telangana on Sunday witnessed swimming in daily Coronavirus cases, recorded 3,603 fresh infections, which pushed the cumulative number to 7.34,815 while the number rose to 4,072 with one death.
The country recorded 4,393 new cases on Saturday.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported the highest number of daily cases with 1,421, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri 308 and Ranga Reddy 262 District, said state government bulletin, provided details at 5:30 this afternoon.
A total of 2,707 people recovered from infection in the last 24 hours.
With this cumulative number of recovery until the date rose to 6.98,649.
Active cases reached 32,094, said Bulletin.
A total of 93,397 samples were tested today and the total number was checked until the date was 3.13 crores.
The sample tested per million population was 8.43,063.
The case fatality rate is 0.55 percent and the recovery rate is 95.08 percent.
Meanwhile, Minister of Health T Harish Rao said more than one lakh people with symptoms had provided a home isolation kit, consisting of medicines and others, in the first two days of the ongoing door fever survey.
Surveys are taking place in the state as part of the steps to examine the spread of Covid-19 and 29.2 lakh houses that are covered so far.
