Telangana: Sirza Village in Lockdown After Omicron’s Case

Hyderabad: A village in the Rajanna-Sircilla district is in his forced locking for 10 days after a man who returned from the bay was tested positive Omicron.
All shops, hostels and other places are still closed in the village of Gudem Mustabad Mandal on Thursday after a decision taken by villagers voluntarily.
“We know about variants that spread in other countries, but we are sad because someone belongs to our village is influenced by Omicron.
Their family members have also tested positive Covid-19,” said a village resident.
Together with health staff, villagers have traced the main contact of Gulf Returnee and they were also asked to be in house isolation.
The key to the village forced alone, said the local residents, was a round decision taken by everyone as they did not want the omicron variant to spread.
