Hyderabad: Sub-Inspector (SI) and two police officers of the Addagudud police station, which were placed under suspensions a month ago because of their alleged role in the death of a 48-year-old Custodian woman, has been dismissed from Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat.
On June 22, Commissioner Rachakonda has suspended Addagudur Si V Maheshwar, Constable Ma Rashed Patel and P Janaiiah for retaliation assignments in connection with the death of the woman’s custodian, Mariamma.
After the death of Mariamma at Bhongir Hospital on June 18, according to the procedure, Post-Mortem was carried out and the case of custodian death was registered in the part 176 CRPC against the Maheshwar and both police officers.
Furthermore, in July the second week, the police handed out a memo in court which stated the addition of section 330 (voluntarily causing injury) IPC and SC & ST acted on the FIR against three policemen after the medical examination of the sons of women, Uday, who was picked up in the case of theft, showing Custodian torture.
On Wednesday, Commissioner Rachakonda issued a statement about the dismissal of three police officers from the service.
“In Addagudur PS Case of Custodian Death from Dalit Woman, Mariamma, police officers who are responsible, Maheshwar, Constables Ma Rasheed Patel and P Janaiiah, who have been compiled, are dismissed from services based on article 311 (2) (b) constitution and 25 ( 2) behavior regulations on July 20 by CP Rachakonda, “said the statement.
On June 16, Pastor Balashoury from Govindapur Village at the address of the Addagudur police station has filed a complaint that alleged that RS 2 lakh money was stolen from the cum-cum-residence place, police said.
After the probe preliminary, the police took the domestic assistance of Pastor Maramu, his son Uday Kumar and his friend on June 17.
The police also recovered RS 90,000 in cash from the suspect.
