Hyderabad: Mandal Parishad (MPTC) constituency members and her husband died when their car traveled crashing into a truck from behind in Hayathnagar in the Nalgonda District of Telangana on Tuesday night.
The woman is a member of Tipparthi Mandal.
At the time of the accident, the pair traveled to Hyderabad.
The deceased was identified as Dontham Kavitha (40) and her husband Dontham Venugopal Reddy (52), a businessman and local TRS leader from Tipparthi.
“Tipper Plying trucks in front of them suddenly stopped on the road in front of the gas station in the Amberpet pedda near the outer ring road.
The four wheels crashed into the back of the truck.
Both Kavitha and Venugopal suffered severe injuries and died in that place,” said Hayathnagar police .
The police have ordered a truck driver because suddenly slowing down the vehicle without giving any indication.
