Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet has decided to introduce British media in all government schools in the state of the academic year 2022-23 and regulate costs in private schools, junior and college level.
The decision for this effect was taken at a meeting held on Monday, official release said.
The cabinet has formed a ministerial subcommittee led by Minister of Education Sabita Indra Reddy to study and prepare guidelines about the problem.
At the meeting, the cabinet also gave a nod to “where the Vooru Mana Badi” (our school-us) scheme with the cost of Rs 7289 Crore for better infrastructure facilities and quality education in government schools.

“The cabinet feels that parents in rural areas are ready to send their children to government schools if the instruction media in English.
Therefore, the cabinet decided to speak English as a medium of teaching in government schools and to develop infrastructure accordingly, “said the release.
The government also decided to develop an action plan to train teachers to provide education in English to students at the primary level, to make the environment in schools attractive for children, maintaining everyday food premature.
