Telangana: Women are injured in acid attacks, humans are held

Hyderabad: A man threw a toilet cleaning acid at a 38-year-old woman in Lakkaram Village in the Adilabad District on Thursday.
The woman suffered a minor injury.
The police suspected the defendant threw the bathroom cleaner in the woman after he refused his sexual progress.
Police Adjuabad said the woman suffered burns in his hands and legs.
At 7 o’clock in the morning, when he swept outside his residence, the defendant was allegedly coming from behind and threw the acid used in cleaning the toilet to him.
“He suffered from 5 percent of injury burns.
He was treated as an outpatient in the hospital in Utnour.
Whether accused and the woman belongs to the same village,” Police Inspector Police D Uday Kumar Reddy told Tii.
Police said the accused of demanding sexual assistance he refused.
The defendant was arrested and the case under the IPC section was slapped at him.
