Hyderabad: The stage is set for the launch of a new regional party in Telangana, YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP), on Thursday in the private function hall in the city.
The launch has been arranged due to the alert of the birth of former YS Minister Rajaseekhara Reddy on July 8.
The inauguration meeting will be a low affair because of a pandemic.
Along with the opening of the party flag and the theme song, YS Sharmila will announce the agenda of his new party.
Although the capacity of the hall is around 4,000, it is expected that around 20,000 loyalists will attend the first meeting at 3pm, which will last for five to six hours.
Sharmila’s mother Ys Vijayaamm will be present.
Unlike in the past when the Chief of AP Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and Sharmila paid tribute to their father in the rewindulapaya together, the party’s sources said Sharmila would go directly to the lively on Thursday, while his brother was expected to visit Samadhi at night.
The invitation was expanded to all political parties, including TRS, Congress and BJP, in the state.
Party leaders personally submit the inauguration invitation to the Head of TJ Kodaram and former TDP leader, BC R Krishnaiiah leader.
TRS was launched when Andhra Pradesh was not divided.
Kodaram floated Telangana Jana Samithi in April 2018 and YSRTP will be the second large regional party to be launched in the state.
YSR at the Jagan YSR Congress party stands for Yuvajana (Youth), Sramika (Workers) and Rythu (Farmers) Plus YSR is also a short form of YS Rajaseekhara redddy.
“YSR in the name of our party stands for YS Rajaseekhara Reddy,” said a YSTTP leader.
The party theme song was written by Epuru Somanna.
A book written by a spokesman for Indira Shobhan’s party in the welfare scheme carried out by YSR will also be launched on that occasion.
