HYDERABAD: What might bring cheer at the next wave of outbreak, Telangana is apparently doing quite well using its Covid-19 recovery speed touching 94 percent (according to June 2) compared to the other southern countries.
According to medical professionals, a recovery rate of over 90%-92% augurs well in Covid-19 direction and the condition must breathe easy.
At present, the country total recovery rate stands at 92 percent.
Tamil Nadu and Karnataka’s healing speed, on the other hand, has been under 90 percent.
Officials stated the recovery speed in Telangana had soared 5% in only 20 days.
By 89 percent May 16, the retrieval rate currently stands at 94 percent.
IIT Hyderabad scientist M Vidyasagar, that had been a part of this group to forecast SUTRA Model on Covid-19, stated besides Telangana, several nations and states are currently recording a fantastic recovery speed.
“The important element is keeping the speed, which can be essential.
This will lead to a better falling rate in the optimistic instances being reported,” he explained.
He said a great recovery speed will depend a good deal on the Covid-19 proper behavior among the people rather than only on containment and other Covid-19 steps initiated by the authorities.
