Temple near mangaluru bans vehicle parking by non-Hindu

Mangaluru: A temple in the taluk puture managed by the endowment department ran into the controversy after banning vehicle parking by non-Hinduism in the past weekend.

However, the President of the Administration Committee of the Keshav Prasad Muliya said they decided to strengthen the security of the temple after verbal instructions from the Minister of Endowmen.
“We observed that the vehicle was parked here last night and many were excessive on the road.
We will build a compound wall for the temple,” he added.
Congress criticized the decision, said people from various religions also offered prayers to Lord Mahingeshwara.
Former Leader of MLA’s Putture and Congress Shakuntala Shetty suggested that the temple be able to start a salary and park system which will also help generate income for administration.
“It’s hard to ask their religion when they park their vehicles.
It can cause tension.
Also, it is not true to create controversy in the name of Lord Mahingeshwara, which is worshiped by all religions,” he added.
