Kuli: A 21-year-old man died in police custody in Paschim Bardhaman Bengal Regency on Tuesday morning, triggered tensions in the area, when the locals threw stones at the post, where he was detained, and burned several vehicles outside, a senior said officer.

He was declared dead when he was taken to the nearest hospital,” said the senior police officer.
