Terminal byappanahalli to open after connectivity is repaired

Bengaluru: Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (Third Coaching Terminal BYappanahalli) will be opened after the problem of connectivity is resolved, the Minister of Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Sunday.
He spoke to the media after examining the terminal, which was completed in March, with senior Railway and Bengalore MP Central PC Mohan officials.
Asked about the delay of almost six months in opening the terminal, Vaishnaw said: “There is a Covid period.

Limited / narrow road access problems to the terminal will be sorted immediately In consultation with BBMP.
After that, we will inaugurate the terminal.

Two lines will be added to the ongoing Rob work that connects the Old Madras road without additional land acquisition.
