SRINAGAR: Terrorists opened fire on the Bunker of the Central Reserve Police (CRPF) near FM Gali on Jalan KP in the Ananthnag District of South Kashmir on Wednesday.
However, no one was injured in the attack, officials said.
A CRPF officer said that the attackers fired three four bullets at the bunker before running away.
The search was launched in the area immediately after tracking the perpetrators.
The CRPF police killed himself at Budgama CRPF Trooper hung himself in the Covid center in the Humhama area in the Central Kashmir Budgam Regency on Wednesday night, senior official said.
“Bharat Bhai from CRPF’s 43 BN, a resident of Gujarat, was found depending on the RTC Covid Center,” said an official, added that the cause of suicide was not confirmed.
