SRINAGAR: Yaish-e-Mohammed Terrorist Mir Srinagar’s Nowgam and two suspected Pakistani members of clothing were banned dead in a night shootout starting on Thursday night at Chadoora in the Budgam district, about 20 km from the capital J & K.
After Mir’s death, Only one other terrorist from the remaining Srinagar in Jem, Kashmir Range IGP Vijay Kumar said on Friday.
He said 11 terrorists, including six foreigners, was killed in a meeting since January 1 this year at J & K.
Mir was said to be active since December 2020.
He was sought in the murder of Police Inspector Parvaiz Ahmad in June last year and a grenade attack on the Bunker CRPF near Aali Chowk mosque in Eidgah, Srinagar, where a civilian and a police officer injured.
He was also known for Kashmir’s young man washing brainwashing to join Jem, police said.
IGP Kumar said the three sensations of AK-56 attacks were confiscated from terrorists in the village of Zolwa Chadoora after they were shot dead by the CRPF police J & K team and army personnel during Cordon and searched in the area.
The terrorists shot indiscriminately and gave their position when the security team approached the hiding place.
They were shot in retaliation.
A military officer suffered a “minor” flake.
Civilians are evacuated to avoid collateral damage in darkness.
The police appealed to people to work together until the area was cleaned from explosives or other hazardous materials.
