Jammu: Terrorists were shot dead by a man in Eidgah at the Old Quarters of Srinagar and police sub-inspector assistants near the District Hospital in Bijbehara in the South Anantnag Kashmir Regency within 30 minutes with each other on Wednesday night.
A police officer said Rouf Ahmad Khan, 45, was seriously injured in the shooting at Eidgah.
He died at the hospital.
A few minutes after Srinagar’s attack, terrorists shot ASI Muhammad Ashraf from Awantipora in Bijbehara.
He took four bullets around his neck and chest, and was declared dead when he arrived at the hospital.
Fatal attacks took part in a shooting Tuesday night by a terrorist from the car, targeting security forces who keep the checkpoint in Soura, Srinagar.
They fled, but one of them was injured in counter-fire.
Previously on Sunday, J & K police killed a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist from Pakistan Karachi in a shootout in Harwan on the outskirts of Srinagar.
IGP Vijay Kumar said he was the third Pakistani terrorist to be killed in Srinagar at 33 days.
He also tweeted that “it shows Pakistan insisting” on disrupting peace in the valley, especially Srinagar.
