Robot-based technology has evolved over the past few years even if it does not really become a mainstream.
The CEO of Tesla Elon Musk may have a plan to change it because he revealed his company was working on the Humanoid robot.
According to a report by the threshold, the robot prototype will be ready next year.
Deciphering to the robot – named Tesla Bot – and Tech behind it, Musk reportedly said it would take advantage of Tesla’s experience working with automatic machines.
It will also depend on several “hardware and software that moves the company’s autopilot driver assistance software,” said the report.
On the company’s website, Tesla said, the idea was to “develop the next generation automation, including general purpose, bi-pedal, humanoid robots that were able to do unsafe, repetitive or boring tasks.” Tesla on its website also noted that he was looking for technical, electrical, control and software techniques “to help us take advantage of our AI expertise outside our vehicle fleet.” Tesla’s CEO was increasingly revealed that Tesla’s robot would be about 5 feet and 8 inches and weighed around 125 pounds.
There will be a screen for this face and robot intended to be friendly.
Musk also said that Tesla designed a robot at the mechanical level.
“This is intended for friends,” Musk joked, “and navigated through the world built for humans.” Musk spoke at the Tesla Ai Day conference and said that building a Humanoid robot was the next logical step for Tesla.
He said that the robot would borrow and use the tools that already existed in Tesla’s car.
This includes sensors, cameras, neural networks.
and will be used to navigate the robot autonomously.
