Apart from the car, Tesla has sold limited edition products that have included tequila, t-shirts, shorts and several other items.
However, it looks like the LED Elon Musk company can work on audio products such as headphones, speakers and more.
According to a report by Electrek, Tesla has submitted a trademark registration for a new category about two weeks ago.
The report states that “Tesla ™ trademark registration is intended to cover the microphone category; headphones; earphone; digital audio player; voice transmission apparatus; audio speaker; subwoofer; earpad for headphones; audio interface; audio equalizer tools; horns for loudspeakers; megaphone .
“Now it’s very possible that audio devices can be intended to come up with Tesla’s car.
However, registering a trademark for something that can come with his own car can be a little stretch.
So maybe Tesla can roam into your own category.
After saying that, registering a trademark does not always mean that the company finally did something underneath.
Just as patents, it can be for concepts, future use or just order ideas so that no one else really takes it.
According to the report, Tesla had added the audio system in his car.
Tesla also recently recruited engineers from the Amazon team who developed various echo devices.
This is not the first time Tesla gathered with the idea of doing something around music.
A few years ago it was reported that Tesla did work developing its own in-house streaming service.
That’s when Tesla doesn’t have access to other music streaming services in the US.
According to a report, the idea was in the beta stage before being reduced by Musk.
