NEW YORK: Elon Musk, CEO of electrical car manufacturer Tesla, stated on Sunday the US firm will take bitcoin payments when the digital money is greener.
The American producer caused a feeling in February when it declared that clients could purchase cryptocurrency, a choice that became possible in the end of March.
But Musk altered his head, suggesting that bitcoin proved no longer approved — in the pursuit in protecting the environment.
“When there is affirmation of moderate (~50%) fresh energy use by miners with optimistic future tendency, Tesla will restart allowing Bitcoin trades,” that the billionaire composed on Twitter Sunday.
