Tesla has brought a new driver’s help feature in full self-driving beta (FSD), where the electric car will “not exit the path through” and “can do a rolling stop” on the traffic light.
It is still not entirely clear whether the car will stop full of signs of stopping or not.
Perform a rolling stop instead of a complete stop at illegal traffic lights in several countries.
According to a report on Verge, Tesla’s FSD Beta lets you choose from three driving profiles – “cold,” “average,” and “firm”.
This feature included in the update version 10.3 October 1021, which was drawn two days after starting to glide because of the problem with the left round at the traffic light.
Tesla issued a version that was updated a day later, which included the FSD profile described as a way “to control behavior such as stopping rolling, changes in speed-based paths, following remote and yellow lights.” In the description under the “firm” option, Tesla said that the vehicle will “have a distance to follow smaller” and “make changes to the speed of speed more often.” The vehicle will also “not come out past the path” and “can do a rolling stop”.
In “Cool” mode, the vehicle will “have a distance to follow a larger one and make changes to the path less,” While “the average” mode means car “will have a medium distance to follow and can do a rolling stop.” The Tesla Elon Musk CEO said that the electric car company raised the price of FSD software to $ 12,000, which applies from January 17.
Tesla began testing the FSD in beta in October 2020, at a price of $ 8,000.
It then increases the price to $ 10,000.
The software does not make Tesla vehicles completely autonomous.
