Prague: Perusik Czech Beach Volleyball Player has been tested positive for Covid-19 in the Olympic Village of Tokyo, officials said, after two South African soccer players and an analyst found infected in the complex.
Perusik submitted “positive samples during daily testing in the Olympic Village on Sunday, July 18”, the head of the Czech Olympic team Martin Doctor said in a statement.

On Saturday, the Czech Olympic Committee reported staff members had tested the positive Covid-19 after landing in Tokyo for the match starting on Friday.
The case of the dispute seems to be the fourth in the Olympic Village after infection of two South African footballers and a video analyst was revealed on Sunday.
Olympic village, an apartment complex and dining room in Tokyo, will accommodate 6,700 athletes and officials at its peak when the 2020 match was delayed finally lasted.
