WASHINGTON: Texas Governor Greg Abbott was tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday and isolated and accepted the treatment of monoclonal antibodies, his office said.
Abbott, a republican who has tried to block local officials in the state of the mask of using masks, is without symptoms, his office said in a statement.
“The Governor of Abbott was fully vaccinated against Covid-19, in good health, and at this time did not experience symptoms,” he said.
“Everyone relating to the governor with today has been notified.”
