Hyderabad: Illegal buildings continue to mushroom in and around the city just below the official nose machine.
A total of 200 villas were allegedly built illegally on the outskirts of the city in the village of Mallampet under Dundigal Municipality.
Of these, at least eight was built by penetrating the five hectares of full tank (FTL) and the Cheruvu Caterweight buffer zone in the village.
The authorities plan to bulldoze illegal villas and officials involved now under the country’s radar.
According to officials, several local elected representatives were also allegedly behind this unauthorized structure and they had gathered many of the companies.
This unauthorized structure problem was revealed recently after the complaint that the villas grew up on the FTL lake.
When the Medchal district conducted a collector aired, Harish ordered a probe, found that more than 200 out of 260 villas did not have permission needed.
Sources in the City Government and the Department of Panchayat Raj said that these illegal villas were built in 150 sq yds and companies claimed to have permission from Gram Panchayat / Municipality.
Officials suspected, a copy of the permit has been dismissed but the official question revealed that only around 60 villas had permission from the Metropolitan Development Authority Hyderabad (HMDA) and Dundigal City.
The rest is illegal structure.
Interestingly, some have submitted a copy of the permission from the Gram Panchayat who claimed they were nods before the merger at Dundigal Municipality in 2018.
But officials suspected that a copy of the permit was borne.
“The permission was not included in the Panbayat Mallampet registers or the amount collected towards the permission fee tailored to his account.
Moreover, Panchayats did not have the power to provide permission for the construction of the villa or the official community from the probe.
N Satyanarayana, Director of the City Administration Department, told Ti On Wednesday: “The team has been formed by additional collectors of the Medchal District (local agency) to bulldoze all homes and illegal actions that have been recommended against the Commissioner of the City and Secretary of Perancrayat under the period where the villas are built.
“Officials on whom the actions have been recommended include the Secretary of Panchayat Raj Kumar and Sunitha not to not record permits in the register or credit the cost of Panchayat.
The action has also been sought after Dundigal Chiefs Jyothi City Reddy, Suresh, MNR Jyothi and now Commissioner P Bhogishwarlu for not checking permission After the Panchayat merger and for failing to stop illegal construction.
