Hyderabad: The Telangana Government moves forward with its plan to map the health profile of everyone in the state.
Initially, the project would be taken at dedicami Sircilla Rajanna and Muluugu and the Ministry of Health had been asked to produce detailed guidelines on the scheme.
On Thursday, Minister of KT Rama Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod held a meeting with health officials and IT departments at the modality of health profile projects.
Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently announced that the government will prepare a state health profile that will help understand and prevent medical problems faced by people.
Several years ago the state government had taken the ‘Kanti Veluyu’ program to filter the eyes throughout the state.
Free goggles are also distributed to people who need it.
After the meeting, the ministers said the government would accelerate the health profile project.
“Some services have been provided through it and use technology in the state.
The database on people’s health profiles will also be used to analyze their conditions, seasonal illnesses in various districts, take precautions and provide care,” Ktr said.
The ministerial group said that in the pilot district all details will be taken at the doorway with the help of health staff who will collect blood and urine samples.
If anyone needs further tests, services will be provided at the Telangana diagnostic center and primary health center.
“Countries such as Estonia that have emerged with the health profile of their citizens will also be studied,” Dayakar Rao said.
