Hyderabad: Four people based in Haryana who were arrested on November 6 for stealing cash from ATM machines at their own manserial upscale cars and sports bikes, the police were found during the two-day custodian interrogation accused.
The fact was revealed when the police verified the content on the defendant’s cellphone.
The cellphone used by the defendant costs a minimum of 60,000 Rs.
“On this accused cellphone, we found their photos using high-end cars and bicycles,” said the source at the Manserial police to TI.
The defendant Robin Khan, Sahib and Harish came from Nuh and Ejaj District Ahmed Khan was a Palwal resident in Haryana.
The defendant used to steal the previous tire from a vehicle parked on the highway.
Then, with the help of some of their villagers, they studied various methods of stealing cash from ATM machines including cutting cash crates with gas cutters.
“So far, we have confiscated 60 ATM cards from the ownership of the defendant.
The defendant claimed that in their village, the ATM card was given a rent by many people with the RS commission 1,000 per card.
When we verify bank transactions, we learn that there is a lakh rupee in every account , “Police said.
In Manserial, the defendant was arrested for opening an ATM from the public sector bank with the keys they buy from abroad.
The key helps access the button where someone can turn on and turn off the ATM machine.
The defendant dies will turn off the engine when the mouth dispenser is open and right before the ATM machine issues cash and cash-money sounds.
Using a finger, they will withdraw cash and submit a complaint with a call center claiming that some money from their bank account has been deducted but they don’t get money and successfully accept replacement.
The suspect’s sheet was opened against the defendant.
