T’Gana began the process to establish 8 medical colleges

Hyderabad: The government has set a roll of rolling to establish eight new Government Medical Universities (Teaching Hospitals) in Telangana ahead of the National Medical Commission (NMC) inspection, which is most likely in December.
The government has submitted a request to establish a teaching hospital in Wanaparthy, Nagarketool, Mahabubabad, Bhadadri-Kothagudem, Jagtial, Sangareddy, Manter and Ramagundam.
Towards the NMC inspection, the Director of Medical Education (DME) has begun the recruitment process to fill professors, assistant professors and professor associates in this college.
“We completed the application process for eight colleges in September.
We expect NMC visits, naturally, at the end of November or December.
According to the guidelines, we have started the recruitment process by absorption, promotion, and contracts,” said DME, Telangana, Dr K Ramesh Reddy.
The last date for sending applications by qualified candidates is October 28 after the final selection list will be released by DME on October 31 and the selected candidate must join November 7, considering the NMC team can visit this college in December, DME has explained that The chosen candidate should not appear for the NMC assessment on and after July 31, 2021, because of this assessment for the academic year 2021-22.
The establishment of this college will add 1,200 other medical seats in the state.
DME officials also focus on building 12 departments, including cardiology, neurology and gastroenterology, in these new institutions.
“We also modified the building according to the NMC guidelines wherever needed.
The Department of Road and Building took care of college buildings,” Reddy added.
