T’Gana CM KCR announced a special quota for DAITS

Hyderabad: Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday announced a special reservation for Dalits to promote them in various business sectors.
This special reservation will be an additional 15% quota scheduled obtained in the education and employment sector in the state.
Giving the independence day address of the Golconda Fortress after lifting the national flag, KCR said the work of the state government was unlimited to only provide financial inspiration to Dalit in the form of Rs 10 Lakh Grant to each family of SC as part of the Dalit Bandhu scheme.
“The government will implement a special reservation for Dalit.
They will be given a quota in government contracts to supply raw materials and commodities to fertilizer stores, medical stores, hospitals and hostels, which take licenses from the government to run their business,” KCR said .
“SCS will also be given contracts available through the government for licenses to build wine and bar bars.
The government began implementing a special reservation for Dalits,” he said.
Source said the government was working on modalities to extend special quotas for dalit and the percentage of this special reservation would be announced later.
CM said: “I myself designed Bandhu Dalit to empower Dalit financially and release them from social discrimination.
The government has sanctioned funds for its implementation.
This project will be fully implemented on the basis of the pilot in the Huzurabad constituency from Monday.” KCR said it would also be implemented Some in other constituencies in the state.
“Dalit is not satisfied with limited support such as small loans and subsidies given to them by the sequential government.
There are no significant changes in their lives.
Therefore, the government decided to provide financial motivation of Rs 10 lakh to the family to establish units under Dalit Bandhu, “He said.
In the event of an incident of UNWARDARD to the recipient, Dalit Protection Fund is being introduced to support them.
From the 10 Lakh Rs provided by the government, the RS 10,000 will be stored under the share of beneficiaries and other 10,000 Rs by the government.
Special corpus funds will also be arranged.
Dalit Bandhu Samithis will be established at the village level, mandal, constituency, district and state.
The fund will be managed by Samithis.
The district collector will play an important role in the implementation of Dalit Bandhu and supervision of Dalit Protection Fund.
All other welfare schemes provided by the government will continue the beneficiaries of Dalit Bandhu.
The government will continue to provide rice, retirement, and other facilities through a ration card.
