T’Gana: government school to have English media from next year

Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet has decided to introduce British media in all government schools in the state of the next academic year.
It was decided in the State Cabinet at a meeting chaired by the Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday.
The decision to introduce English media was taken after seeing a big leap in the student registration in the state last year, especially after the second wave of pandemic.
The government will also come up with laws to regulate costs in all schools and colleges in the state.

To prepare modalities and guidelines for good regulation and also in English secondary schools, the Cabinet Sub-Committee has been formed.
This will be led by Education Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy, and has the Eshwar Koppula Minister, Talasni Srinivas Yadav, V Srinivas Good, T Harish Rao, V Prashath Reddy, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, e Dayakar Rao and KT Rama members.
“The Committee will see aspects of the availability of teachers to teach in English media, the availability of textbooks and other aspects,” said the Senior Ministry of Education official.
In the cost regulation, various associations of parents have demanded the sidewalk on an increase by private schools.
The government has established a committee led by former representative of Chancellor Tirupathi Rao, who recommends a maximum increase of 10% every year.
To strengthen infrastructure and qualitative improvement in teaching in government schools in the state, the cabinet has gave sanctions RS 7,289 Crore under the program where Vooru -where Badi.
The cabinet made a decision to provide reservations for students studying at the Forest College and Research Center (FCRC) in Siddipet in recruitment to the Ministry of Forestry State.
“While 25% of the post will be ordered at the post-post-post-post consistant assistant, 50% in the forest range officer and 50% at the forester,” said the office of the chairman of the Telangana Minister.
To provide reservations, the Cabinet also decided to change the Telangana Forest Service Rules, 1997 and Telangana State Forest Subordinate Regulations, 2000.
The Cabinet discussed the problem of irrigation in detail.
To mobilize funds for SangaMeshwara and the Basaveshwara elevator’s irrigation project proposed in Sangareddy, the Country Cabinet has cleared the special vehicle ‘Manjeera lifting limited corporate irrigation.
The Irrigation of the Head of the Main Secretary or Main Secretary will act as chairman while other officers will be the director of the corporation.
