Hyderabad: Because legal issues have emerged on the sale of Land Kokapet, the state government has decided to slow down on land auctions.
It can be studied that the government can delay the second auction phase until the end of the year.
The auction of 49 hectares of land in Kokapet and Khanamet has taken a record of Rs 2,000 Crore for the government.
According to the response, the government has planned the second stage auction in August-end or September in HMDA jurisdiction and even told senior officials to get ready to run it.
However, a series of legal wrangle at Kokapet’s land auction forced the government to apply brakes, the source revealed.
The source said the warning of the High Court to open an escrow account to keep kokapet auction money also made it difficult for the government to continue the auction.
A senior official said: “The government’s target is to mobilize around RS 20,000 Crore through government land sales that are not used in current financial years.
This money is needed to implement various welfare schemes such as loan neglect and bandhu dalit.” He further said: “Going With the current situation, the government may not even reach half of its target.
” Some officials also provide doubts about the response from the bidder with auction, especially within the HMDA limits, because of the law problems that often occur.
Some officials said they were motivated and intended to create obstacles to the government.
“The government will continue to prepare land for auction in the land parcels identified.
The auction will be carried out at the right time,” said a senior HMDA official.
Officials said HMDA was planning to complete the remaining plot auction in the layout of Bhagat UPPAL near Nagole Metro Station and land explanes near Miyapur.
HMDA has 105 hectares of land in Miyapur.
Of this number, 55 hectares were previously allocated for the development of integrated bus terminals, the plan, however, did not materialize.
In another survey number, HMDA has 270 hectares, which is part of legal issues.
The government also plans to auction of land in the number of surveys 20 and 28 in Miyapur.
Apart from this, around 1,500 hectares of land were identified in the Rangeddy District of Esptama to auction.
This land parcels are located in PathAnnagar, Budwel, Rohuryal, Konggan Khurd, Thummaloor and Maheshwarram.
In the midst of confusion over the auction, the Corporation of the Telutana State Industry Infrastructure (TSIIC) has been assigned to identify large land parcels suitable for mega projects and special economic zones.
