T’gana govt Lifts Cover, junior docs Draw Attack

HYDERABAD: Patient providers were seriously struck Gandhi Hospital, Telangana’s nodal Covid-19 nodal hospital day two of the strike called by Telangana Junior Doctors Association (TJUDA) over greater wages and facilities due to their kin.

There were flaws in medical treatment of these situations,” a leading hospital source said.
“Covid-19 sufferers that are co-morbid and people on insulin couldn’t get drugs on time as just a small number of nurses have been handling the wards.
There weren’t any doctors about,” that the offical added.
Slight flaws in administering injections, daily rounds and drugs were viewed in additional authorities tertiary care centers too, together with physicians staging protests and boycotting duty for a number of hours.

Junior physicians and senior citizens staged protests across tertiary centers like Gandhi Hospital, Osmania General Hospital, TIMS, Kakatiya Medical College along with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) at Adilabad among many others.
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has backed TJUDA’s requirements saying that these are real demands.
While junior physicians were unwilling Wednesday to call off the attack despite assurances from the authorities as their requirements were only partly fulfilled, they chose to call off the attack after marathon discussions with country health authorities to the next day in a row on Thursday.
“Keeping in view of individual’s wellbeing as our dedication and our duty to serve them into current pandemic catastrophe, we T-JUDA are calling the attack and also will report to responsibilities against 9 pm,” TJUDA stated in a declaration.
The authorities issued formal orders improving stipend of junior physicians by 15 percent, which had been among the main demands.
“We convey our thanks to our own CM and health government for fixing stipend increase for interns, post graduates, superb specialization article graduates, mature citizens and feasibility of beds for physicians and their family in NIMS Hospital,” TJUDA promptly said.
The sole issue that wasn’t totally addressed was approximately ex-gratia for health care employees who lost their lives because of Covid-19.
“Health officials have provided us verbal assurance an alternative for ex-gratia is going to be shared with the ministry.
We expect this problem will be dealt with,” explained Dr V Naveen, president of their TJUDA.
