T’Gana Govt took back 1,960 hectares of land from 65 companies

Hyderabad: Solving whip in 65 industries because it did not prepare their units even after the land was given for free years ago, the state industry infrastructure company Telangana (Tsic) had taken back 1,960 hectares of them.
The government now wants to re-allocate land continued to industrialists who are ready to establish their units.
The ground area continued ranges from one hectare to 250 hectares.
Most of the land continued is at the limit of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) such as Fab City Sez in Ravirala, Hardware Park in Mamidipally, Park in Nanakramguda, Park Automotive, Ida Nacharam, Pashagylaram, Patancheru, Park Biotech in Karkatla, Adibiba Sez and IT Park, Madikonda in Warangal.
Officials said the action was taken against the unit given the main land in Rohlamy near the Shamshabad airport at that time the AP government in 2007.
Some companies even approached the court to Tsic to cancel land allotment.
Industry Minister KT Rama Rao, a few months ago, had directed Tsian to review the land rations to the industrialists – cases per case – and retrieved the land that was not used.
While 27,000 hectares of land were given from the beginning of the industrial company in 1973 to the formation of Telangana in 2014, around 5,000 hectares were given in the last five years since 2016.
“About 35,000 hectares of industrial land are under development in various parts of Hyderabad.
Allotment has begun In some areas, while infrastructure development is underway, “said an official of Tsic.
In fact, this TSI formed the cell tracking tracking to see that the industry began their operations after land allotment in two years unless there was a big problem.
Officials remember that when the AP was fought, there was no tracking system because some industries did not start operations even 10 years after the land was provided free to them.
“Such cases are being handled seriously.
We adopt a two-branch strategy for industrial development because the country has received a large investment and there is a big demand for land.
The government wants to ensure allottes (industrialists) began to operate and provide work.
Second, if they fail To take any work, the government will not hesitate to continue the land and reallot for those who need it, “said a senior TSIC official to Ti.
With Tsic track the progress of the industrial unit after land allotment, some beneficiaries have begun to approach the corporation for extra time, quoting a pandemic.
Officials said they received nearly 200 applications in recent months for extra time for one to two years.
