T’Gana: Irrigation Project is almost at the full reservoir level

Hyderabad: With heavy rain hit the state for the past few days and large inflows into various rivers, all major and medium irrigation projects at Godavari and Krishna have reached a full reservoir level.
The irrigation department has lifted the crest gate to release water from projects such as Nizamsagar, and Bottom and Mid Manir.
Officials said that Havoc rain was seen in various districts, especially in the north like Karimnagar, Warangal and Nizamabad regardless of Hyderabad.

In Krishna River Basin, both Srisailam and Jural have received a heavy inflow from the upstream area of ​​Karnataka.
The Jurala project gets more than 93,000 cusecs and Srisailam around 1,18,000 cusecs.
The irrigation department has warned its engineers to oversee lowland areas.
Telangana Genco also produces the strength of its projects.
