T’Gana: Karimnagar Police Tires Drone Up to Jan 1 Jan

Hyderabad: Karimnagar police have banned the use of drones.
Police Commissioner V Satyanarayana said they had decided to impose a ban to prevent the possibility of misuse of drones by ‘terrorists and antisocial elements.’ Satyanarayana on Saturday said the ban on the use of paraglider, the remote controlled drone and a remotely controlled aircraft would be enforced until January 1, 2022.
“The decision was taken for security reasons,” Satyanarayana said.
He showed that lately, Drones were being used extensively during other marriages and events.
“If at all, anyone wants to use drones, they can do it only after taking police permission,” he said.
Those who are found to violate the command will be prosecuted under the IPC part causing disobedience to order correctly announced by public servants, he warns.
This section provides an imprisonment of up to six months with or without a fine.
In addition to restrictions on operating drones, CP said no one had to carry any weapons.
The Commissioner also said there was no music show, song songs or speech will be allowed in public places.
DJ’s voice and music restrictions have also been extended until December 23.
“Voice in particular causes many disruptions to children, students, age and sick,” he said.
To use the public address system, if so it is necessary, at the meeting, permission must be taken first of the assistant Commissioner of the police concerned.
