Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 987 new Covid-19 cases and seven deaths on Tuesday even when the number of active cases decreased to 13,487.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.22,593 and the victim died at 3,651.
While the case continued to decline in most countries, Khammam saw a burst on Tuesday.
The number of active detention zones in the next state fell to 82.
At present, there are no active micro detention zones in Hyderabad, while Mahabubabad with 20 and Bhadadri Kothagudem with 19 has the majority of detention zones in the state.
