WARANGAL: The RTC bus caught fire at the Ghanapur Station bus station on Friday.
All 30 passengers and drivers are safe, however, the bus damaged and the RTC suffered a loss of Rs 10 lakh to RS 15 Lakh.
According to the manager of Warangal-i Depot K Bhanu Kiran, the bus headed for UPPAL from the Janam district bus station, when the bus caught fire.
The source said that the driver’s mind presence turned a big accident when he felt that the machine did not work and asked for passengers to go down with their luggage.
The passengers were sent to their destination through alternative settings from Station Ghanapur to UPPAL.
