Hyderabad: Water Marshal Manavendra Singh, air official command, training command, on Saturday said the Indian Air Force (IAF) was being transformed into one of the most powerful air forces in the world.
When visiting Begumpet Air Force Station, he was received by the Sunil Tomar group captain, station commander, AFS Begumpet.
A ‘Honorary Guard’ was delivered to the air officer ordered by air fighters from the Bay Air Force Station.

In his speech, the commander of the air officer said that his emphasis was on training in IAF and advising IAF personnel to maintain the service ethic, high disciplinary standards, physical fitness including guaranteeing their family’s welfare.
Water Marshal Manavendra Singh is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy and was assigned to the Indian Air Force flying branch on December 29, 1982 as a helicopter pilot.
In a leading career that stretched nearly 39 years, air officers had flown various helicopters and aircraft coaches.
He is a flying instructor that qualifies with the broad instructional experience and more than 6600 hours of flying accidents in various sectors who are challenging such as Siasen, Northeast, Uttarakhand, Western Desert and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He is also an alumni of the Wellington defense staff, Soft Forces College staff (US) and the Army War College, Mhow.
