Water Marshal Manavendra Singh is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy and was assigned to the Indian Air Force flying branch on December 29, 1982 as a helicopter pilot.
In a leading career that stretched nearly 39 years, air officers had flown various helicopters and aircraft coaches.
He is a flying instructor that qualifies with the broad instructional experience and more than 6600 hours of flying accidents in various sectors who are challenging such as Siasen, Northeast, Uttarakhand, Western Desert and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
He is also an alumni of the Wellington defense staff, Soft Forces College staff (US) and the Army War College, Mhow.
