The lowest vehicle sales were observed in April 2020-12 where only 213 two-wheeled vehicles and only three four-wheels were sold because of strict locking.
In May, the locking was still active, the numbers quickly jumped to 30,359 (two wheels) and 2,547 four wheels.
K Narsimha Murty, Director of the National Stock Exchange and Financial Experts, said that vehicle sales figures during the different scenarios from Covid-19 were clear reflection of the demand for natural vehicles and raising awareness of personal transportation.
