T’Gana: Pandemic or not, Strong vehicle sales in HYD, DISS

Hyderabad: Even when the Pandemic Coronavirus resulted in national locking and crashing into the livelihood of Lakh people in Hyderabad and elsewhere, data from the Department of Transportation showed that he had a very minimal impact on vehicle sales in the state.
Apart from the economic slowdown, the graph of vehicle sales in the state shows that people choose private transportation of public transportation.
The sales analysis of the pre-covid period 2019-20 and when Covid was at its peak indicating that Hyderabadis did not stop buying luxury cars and two-wheeled cars, which according to some experts was a sign that people now choose to be more personalized vehicles and public transportation.
Shows a strong scenario in sales in June this year, when locking lasts for 20 days, around 50,432 two wheels and 11,561 four wheels, including the latest sedans and hatchbacks, sold.
In September 2019-20, Telangana sold around 40,000 two wheels and 9,179 four wheels.
During June 2020-21, vehicle registration 8,372 vehicles took place.
Other vehicle charts also reflect the same scenario.
In June, over the past three years (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22), a total of 11,941, 11,195 and 11,670 vehicles were sold, respectively.
The lowest vehicle sales were observed in April 2020-12 where only 213 two-wheeled vehicles and only three four-wheels were sold because of strict locking.
In May, the locking was still active, the numbers quickly jumped to 30,359 (two wheels) and 2,547 four wheels.
K Narsimha Murty, Director of the National Stock Exchange and Financial Experts, said that vehicle sales figures during the different scenarios from Covid-19 were clear reflection of the demand for natural vehicles and raising awareness of personal transportation.
