Hyderabad: Facing strong protests over the suicide of students and flares for the results of the first year of the state, the state government on Friday announced that all students of the first year failure will be given a pass mark.
Education Minister P Sabitha Reddy said the decision was taken after advice by CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and added that it would be the last time students were promoted even when they failed to secure a pass.
“We have decided to promote all students to ensure students are not under pressure when they appear for the second year’s exam,” Reddy said, adding that there was no intermediary board or a country that failed in the exam.
“Our teachers are related to students, they attend a digital class.
We reduce the syllabus to 70%, providing learning material, taking all precautions in conducting tests.
Very disappointing to see people blame the council and state for students who fail,” He added and explained that there were no technical errors carried out by the Board in evaluating papers.
The minister said even after adding 30 signs, almost not 83,000 students who failed to qualify to be ratified.
“By considering their future (students), we promote all students.
This is the last.
Don’t assume that students will be promoted if the DHARNAS is performed.
Encourage them to study well and clean their papers,” Minister said.
Reddy also said that students who want to better score their scores can appear for the joint increase with the second year subject.
He said that if students who apply for a revaluation or calculation of satisfaction with a pass, they can approach the board for a refund.
In the first middle year exam, from a total of 4,09,911 students who appeared, 51% of them failed.
Furthermore, six students have ended their lives after failing in the exam.
Even because the results are released, students, parents and their student organizations have protested the intermediary council and the state government, demanding that they provide a pass to all students.
They have blamed boards and countries, allegating that students fail because countries do not conduct online classes correctly and conduct tests without plans.
The state, which previously promoted first year students until the second year due to a pandemic, has decided to hold the first year’s exam when students are in the mid second year.
