Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 313 new cases of Covid-19 and two more deaths on Thursday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 5,809.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year rose to 6,58,376 and the victim died to 3,878.
There are 16 active detention zones in the state, the majority of them are located in Karimnagar Regency Nad Nalgonda.
354 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking a total count of patients recovered to 6.49,002.
The case fatality rate (CFR) continues to be at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is now at 98.52 percent.
On Thursday, 71,304 samples were tested.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.47 Crore and has reached 6.65 lakh testing sample per million.
Greater Hyderabad recorded 77 cases on Thursday, while Medchal-Malkajirgiri neighbor recorded 18 cases, Rangeddy recorded 13 and Sangareddy recorded five cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar with 21 new cases recorded the highest number of cases among other districts.
