T’gana: Runaway Covid patient Needs toddy, Has it too

HYDERABAD: Authorities at Banswada city of Kamareddy district faced with a piquant situation every time a runaway Covid-19 patient denied to enter an ambulance until they accede to his need.
The 55-year-old man desired toddy.
Just after satiating his jealousy, did he sit at the ambulance until the health team took him into the quarantine center.
Even cops were cautious to go close as he had been infected with this virus.
The guy from Timmanagar village at Pitlam mandal, that tested positive for Covid-19, has been treated in the Banswada authorities field hospital.
Much to the shock of the hospital employees, they discovered him missing out of his mattress.
They looked out for him after realised he left the hospital without even notifying anyone.
This was May 26.
A group was set up to follow him as cops and civil staff hunted for him throughout Banswada.
Twenty-four hours after, the hunt was on.
Ultimately, the research crews found a guy close to a water tanker in Sangameshwar colony.
If they accosted himhe confessed he had run out from the region hospital.
When he requested him to get in the ambulance, he flatly denied.
“I don’t mind dying of Covid-19 however cannot live without needing toddy.
I don’t get toddy in the hospital and I won’t arrive ” he informed the team far to the shock of cops and civil staff.
The research team had hardly any option.
They got him a toddy.
Satisfied after swallowing it, the guy sat at the sidewalk.
He had been back at the quarantine center on Thursday afternoon.
