T’Gana: sanitation drives in schools and colleges until August 30

Hyderabad: With the state government decided to open all educational institutions for the physical class since September 1, Minister of Education P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao directed the district administration to clean all schools on August 30.
The ministers said that Sarpanches and Panchayat Secretary would be responsible for mistakes in their parts.
Following the government’s decision when starting a physical class, ministers held a video conference with district collectors, additional collectors, chairman of Zilla Parishad and other Mandal level education officials on Tuesday.
Sabitha Indra Reddy said that schools were closed for the past 17 months due to Covid-19 pandemic.
“Even school buses, personal buses and RTCs, who carry children to school, need to be disanitized.
The Ministry of Education must coordinate with the Municipal and Panchayat Department officials,” said Minister of Education.
Dayakar Rao said that the state-state government program Pragati and Pattana Pragati – very successful because villages and cities were cleaned and the problem was resolved.
“With the same spirit, the school sanitation program must be taken,” he said.
District collectors and additional collectors (local agencies) have been asked to monitor school sanitaryization.
“In accordance with CM direction, there should be no hose in the part of the government as far as the health of children.
Maintaining past experiences in mind, masks must be used and other steps must be taken,” said the ministers.
