T’Gana saw 366 new cases Covid-19, 2 deaths again

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 366 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths on Wednesday while the number of active cases in the country reached 6,295.
The cumulative case load and the death toll from the beginning of the pandemic last year rose to 6,56,098 and 3,864.
The country now has 16 active detention zones, the majority of them in Jagtial Regency, Karimnagar, and Nalgonda.
A total of 345 patients were declared recovered on Wednesday, taking cumulative recovery in the state to 6,45,939.
Telangana’s Case Fatality Rate (CFR) is at 0.58 percent and the recovery rate at 98.45 percent.
So far, almost 80% of all cases recorded in this country have been without symptoms.
On Wednesday, 80,470 samples were tested for Covid-19.
With this, the country completed the testing of 2.42 crore samples with a test rate of 6.49 lakh samples tested per million populations.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area recorded 102 cases on Wednesday while the neighboring districts of Medchal-malkajiriri, Rangeddy, and relaxed each viewed 27, 13 and five cases.
Elsewhere, Karimnagar continued to see the higher number of cases among other districts, recorded 34 new cases on Wednesday while Narypet and Warangal Urban also saw more cases.
