Hyderabad: A 45-year-old businessman and his wife allegedly deny themselves after establishing many girls Twin those aged 13 years in the City District Paloncha Bhadradri-Kothagudem on Monday.
In a suicide note, purportedly written by a businessman, he blamed the mother, sister and son of a legislator to kill themselves.
The victims were identified as M Naga Ramakrishna, his wife Sri Lakshmi, 40, and their twin daughters, Sahiti, and Sahitya, 13.
The couple and Sahitya died on the spot, while their second daughter fought with more than 80% burns, Assistant Police Inspector Paloncha (ASP) B rohith Raj said.
Around 3:30 am, police received a call on ‘Call 100’ on fire in the house in Old Paloncha Ramakrishna.
Sahiti managed to open the bedroom door latches and exit.
In a statement, he said that Ramakrishna poured gasoline on them when they sleep and burn them, Asp said.
Ramakrishna Suryavati mother, a retired government official, who slept in the next room when the incident occurred, remained unharmed.
“Yesterday, he brought chicken and we all have it.
He got out and came home late.
After dinner, she slept in the room with the children.
During the morning, I heard the sound of the flames.
From their room, knocked on the door and called the neighbors for help.
Later, I saw one of my grand-daughter out of the room with severe burns.
No one came to help from the neighborhood and I just managed to throw a few buckets of water, “Suryavati said.
Police found three suicide note purportedly written by Ramakrishna.
A note pasted on the walls of the house, while the two were in his car.
“In the suicide note, written in Telugu, Suryavati mentioned that his mother, sister, Lova K Madhavi and Vanama Raghavender responsible for the death of his family,” said Asp.
Vanama Raghavender is the son of TRS legislator.
“I have taken this step because injustice has been done since the affair between my sister and Raghavender,” Ramakrishna mentioned in the records.
While police know that Ramakrishna had problems with his mother and sister about sharing the property to clear the debt, Suryavati said that he came to know about her son’s debt recently.
“I know that he owes around Rs 30 lakh from people recently.
I had no idea that he would do something drastic,” said Suryavati.
Madhavi said that there was a discussion with the elders of sharing between Ramakrishna and his property, but it was just a discussion.
“I do not know why Ramakrishna mentioned my name in the record.
I know his family.
So, I told him to look after his mother.
Some people, who want to finish my political career, appears to conspire and dragged me, the name in this matter.
I have nothing do with this.
I have not made a mistake.
Ramakrishna may have ended his life due to financial problems.
I will cooperate with the police investigation, “said Raghavender in a video, distributed by him from an unknown location.
“We have registered a case under sections 302, 307 and 306 of the IPC.
No arrests have been made,” said Asp.
