Secunderabad: Increasing its efforts to get the Civil Region Cantonment Secunderabad joining GHMC, the Telangana Government has begun the process of starting a dialogue with the center by asking members of the Key Residential Association (RWA) to set documents that will serve as a blueprint for mergers.
At the meeting held by Toi, Maud Special Chief Sechanary Arvind Kumar and Cantonment MLA G Kaanna said the document had to establish a foundation to adopt a resolution in the Teutana assembly and to increase the problem of merger with the Ministry of Defense officials (MOD).
The delegation led by Patanna, Arvind Kumar and representatives from Rwas will go to Delhi and meet the main mod officials to submit detailed reports, underlining the urgent need to reopen the closed road and merger.
“I am ready to go and discuss with the defense secretary and explain the situation at the close of the road and the mergger problem,” said Arvind Kumar.
‘SCB is a slum that is glorified because of ignoring’ as part of the TOI campaign on the problem of mergers and efforts to unite all stakeholders under one platform for a joint effort to combine civilian regions with the city of Hyderabad on Wednesday highlighting the need to map the way forward.
“There is a process for the SCB merger with GHMC.
We will all advance this request to the mod and step by step to the next level.
In the past, communication might have been diluted and we are not sure to enter the mod to get from the local Army Authority,” Kumar Said In the Konklave TOI earlier on December 4, Kumar said the CEO of SCB B Ajith Reddy was impressed with the need for the Cantonment Board approval and also the resolution of the selected SCB body.
“The CEO also admitted during the meeting that several Cantonese had started the process of combining civilian regions with each civilian,” he said.
Khanana said the merger problem had been raised in the State Assembly.
“I am ready to lead the delegation to Delhi on the issue of merger.
Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Minister of KT Rama Rao are also interested in the merger,” he said.
Pankaj Sethi, a historian at the Cantonment Secunderabad said: “Land ownership in Secunderabad Cantonment, unlike other Cantonese, never with England.” He described the Secunderabad Cantonment as a ‘glorified slum’ due to years of waiver.
Arvind Kumar said: “These points must be highlighted correctly and supported by relevant documents in the report.” ML Agarwal, President of the All India Cantonments Association of Welfare Residents and Ambala Srinivas from Cantonment Vikas Manchemas, urged the state government to accelerate efforts to fulfill the dream of four lakh people.
“Resolution must be passed in assembly and must be displayed to PMO and then to MOD.
